WHY A SOW?
Someday missions will cease to exist but worship and prayer will be eternal. Our heart for the SOW is to lift up the name of Jesus and see his kingdom increase in our local community & in the nations. We want to help equip those who have a desire to grow in worship and prayer and help you create a lifestyle that reflects who we worship. We want to see you grow in both intimate 1 on 1 times with the LORD as well as leading others into prayer or worship in a corporate setting. The School of Worship imparts foundational values and principles to those intending to serve through worship among the nations. Some topics include;
character and lifestyle as a worshiper,
understanding the work of the Holy Spirit in worship
applying worship principles within a cross-cultural context
the biblical and historical aspects of worship
leadership and teamwork
the dynamics of worship and intercession
creativity and musicianship
worship in missions and evangelism
And more!
WHY BYRON BAY?
Tourists from all nations come through Byron Bay every year and it’s a new
age mecca full of seekers, creatives and surfers. Our base has a heart to reach these travellers with the good news.
“Pancakes & Chai” in the park is one way we connect these travellers and the local community. By giving out free food and playing live music and worship many are drawn to the park and we get to witness how God touches hearts through the gospel, prayer, and worship.
During the SOW we want to give you the opportunity as a worshipper to release your original sound and songs in this outreach setting. We want to see you equipped further as worshipers - whether that is leading musical worship or leading out intercessory prayer, our base desires that God be glorified in Spirit and in Truth
